Hello there old friend.
I've never been too good with expressing myself. Even with my photography (and especially my writing), I look for the clever little details, that somehow compensate for any other mistakes or tasteless decisions. In my work, in my speech, I aim for the ringer, and ignore small overlooked details that take away from the beauty of the piece.
When I compose a speech in my head, I hear it spoke with the intonations of a commercial narrator. These words? They're supposed to sound a little something "like THEEESS". At least that's what it's supposed to sound like in my head.
I spend much too much time up there. In my head.
